    Five Titles at Purdue

    WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Three Indiana men's tennis players captured victories in their bracket finals and two doubles team's claimed top honors in the final day of the Boilermaker Fall Invitational on Sunday.

    Junior Neil Kenner won his Gold Bracket Championship match over James Low of Butler, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4. In the third place match of the Gold Bracket, junior Dmytro Ishtuganov won, 6-1, 6-1, over J.R. Randall of Xavier.

    Sophomore David Bubenicek captured the Black Flight with a 6-2, 6-3 victory against Scott Warner of Purdue. Freshman Michael McCarthy won the third singles title on the day for the Hoosier in the Silver Flight. He beat Toledo's Chris Clark 6-4, 6-0 in the final match.

    Freshman teammate Dara McLoughlin lost his White Flight finals match, 7-5, 6-2, to Adam Zollman of Purdue.

    In doubles action, senior Ryan McCarthy teamed with his brother Michael to capture the Gold Flight crown and Kenner and McLoughlin joined forces to claim the Black Flight.

    The Hoosiers will return to the courts for the Midwest Regional Championships on Oct. 21-26 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
