    This Week
The Indiana men's tennis team is in action this week, when it competes in the Omni Hotels ITA Midwest Championships from Thursday, October 24 through Tuesday, October 29 held in Madison, Wisconsin.

    About the Event
An event that brings the top student-athletes from each region together to determine who competes at the National Championships, the Omni Hotels ITA Midwest Regionals crowns both singles and doubles champions.

64 players will compete in the qualifying singles draw, with the top eight advancing to the main draw, where they will join the top 56 players from around the region.

Only the two finalists from the main singles draw of each of the NCAA's eight regions will advance to the Nationals.

In the doubles bracket, there is no qualifying draw, only a 64-team main draw that will crown the champion, who will also compete at Nationals.

The Regional Championship is not a team event, so it is very possible that teammates could face each other as part of the competition.

    Indiana's Place
Both Jakub Praibis and Viktor Libal will be competing in the main draw.

Also in singles action will be Ryan Recht and Tom Bagnato. Both Recht and Bagnato will be in the qualifying draw.

In doubles action, John Stone will team with Ryan Recht, with Jullien Vulliez joining forces with Bagnato. Libal and Praibis team to round out the Indiana doubles lineup.

    News 'N' Notes

Senior Zach Held will not make the trip to Madison after being diagnosed with a rotator cuff tear.

Held was originally slated to compete in the qualifying draw in singles, as well as in doubles.
