Indoor: Hurled an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 18.72m (62-01.00) at the Alex Wilson Invite to seal his first trip to the NCAAs...took ninth at the NCAAs with a throw of 18.61m (61-00.75)...tossed an 18.48m (60-07.75) in the weight throw at the Hoosier Hills Invitational to lead IU in the event...finished runner-up at Big Tens in the shot put with a throw of 18.26m (59-11).
Junior Year (2005)
Indoor: Threw a career-best 19.51m (64-05.50) in the weight throw at the Hoosier Hills meet
Outdoor: Captured a runner-up finish in the discus at the Big Ten Championships...Finished fourth in the shot put at the same meet...Was a regional qualifier in both events...Career-best toss (58.52m/192-00) in the discus came at the Indiana Relays...Mark ranks second in the IU record books
Sophomore Year (2004)
Indoor: Heaved a personal best 18.56m (60-10.75) at the Alex Wilson "Last Chance" Invitational.
Outdoor: Improved his marks at almost every meet as the season went on... Placed seventh in the discus at Big Ten's...Personal best in the discus (53.74m/176-4) came at the Nebraska Quadrangular...Also finished seventh in the shot put at Big Ten's with a heave of 18.84m/61-9.75, a mark that ranks second in the IU record books...Placed second in the discus at the Florida Relays
Freshman Year (2003)
Indoor: Hurled a personal best (16.70m/54-09.50) in the shot put at the Illinois Health Alliance Classic.
Outdoor: Turned in top performance in the shot put (17.48m/57-4.25) at the Billy Hayes Invite ... Also turned in top performance in the discus (48.08m/154-5) at the ISU/Central Michigan meet
