    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- Several Hoosiers posted season bests in their respective events for Indiana on the second day of the Tyson Invitational, held at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark.

    The 4x400 team of senior Trey Warfield, sophomore Leon Brown, sophomore Martin Stephen and junior Doug Dayhoff finished fourth with a season-best time of 8:14.71.

    "This is a great time for the 4x400 team," assistant coach George Freeman said. "This is a great sprint track, and we had a really successful weekend in the sprints.

    Junior Kyle Jenkins earned eighth in the triple jump championship with a distance of 15.61. In the 60-meter consolation race, sophomore Wil Glover ran his best time of the season with a 6.85, finishing fourth.

    Freshman Jared Nuxoll placed 11th in the high jump, clearing 1.92 meters. Freshman Paul Fearnow was 11th in the weight throw with a distance of 17.65 meters.

    Freshman Jordan Kyle was 12th in the 3000-meter run championship, clocking in at 8:14.71. Freshman Tyler McCreary ran Indiana's best time of the season in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.37.

    The Tyson Invitational will be televised by ESPN2 on Sunday, Feb. 11 at noon EST.

    Indiana will return to action on Friday, Feb. 16, as it hosts the Hoosier Hills.
