    COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Hoosiers finished competition at the Jesse Owens Classic on Saturday. Indiana finished the meet with 11 top-six finishes.

    The men's 4x100m relay team of Chris Vaughn, Will Glover, Devin Pipkin and Kind Butler finished in 40.58 seconds for second place. The time is the third-best in the Big Ten thus far in the outdoor season.

    In the women's mile, IU took third, fourth and fifth. Samantha Ginther finished third with a time of 5:02.88, Caitlin Engel was fourth in 5:06.14 and Erica Ridderman was fifth in 5:07.79.

    Ashley Rhoades was second among collegiates in the high jump, clearing 1.75m (5-8.75).

    Rex Parker was third in the triple jump with a leap of 14.98m (49-1.75). The jump is the fifth best in the Big Ten this season.

    In the 110m hurdles, Derek Drouin took fourth among collegiates. He finished just .14 seconds behind defending Big Ten Champion Josh Hembrough of Purdue with a time of 14.43 seconds.

    Chris Vaughn took sixth in the 400m with a time of 47.51. The time is the fourth best in the Big Ten this season.

    Faith Sherrill was ninth in the discus with a toss of 50.03m (164-2), which is the seventh best in school history. Paul Haas was fifth in the men's discus with a heave of 52.71m (172-11).

    Joe Holahan was sixth in the 800m. The Bloomington-native bettered the 1:51 barrier for the first time in his career, finishing in 1:50.98.
