Neville Advances to 400-Meter Semis at U.S. Olympic Trials

EUGENE, Ore. - Former Indiana track and field standout David Neville advanced to the semifinals of the 400-meters at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials after finishing 12th in the quarterfinal round on Sunday, June 29 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
Neville crossed the finish line in 46.41 to take third in his heat and 12th overall. The semis of the 400-meters will take place at 10:25 p.m. ET tomorrow night.
Former Hoosiers also competing on Monday include Wil Fleming in the qualifying round of the hammer throw at 10 p.m., and Rose Richmond and Lorian Price in the qualifying flights of the long jump at 10:05 p.m. at Hayward Field. For complete results and schedule of events, visit www.eugene08.com.
