    Bloomington, Ind. - Seven Indiana men's and women's track and field athletes each posted their second straight NCAA Regional qualifying performance at the 76th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas. While some Hoosier athletes are competing in the Lone Star state, others are participating in the Big Blue Classic at Eastern Illinois Invitational.

    Through the first two days in Austin, senior Adam Judge is Indiana's top placer. The senior All-American took third place in the hammer throw with a career-best and school record 66.27m/217-05. Judge's performance in Austin is 10 feet better than last week's NCAA Regional qualifying throw of 63.33m/207-09.

    After qualifying for NCAA Regionals in the shot put last weekend, Mike Minton finished eighth in the discus with a regional qualifying toss of 50.83m/166-09. Sophomore Aarik Wilson, the defending national runner-up in the triple jump, turned in another regional qualifying performance in the long jump, taking third with a leap of 7.75m/25-05.25. This is the sixth-best jump in school history.

    On the women's side of the Texas Relays, the 4x100 relay team of Rachelle Boone, Danielle Carruthers, Rose Richmond and Ara Towns finished seventh in the preliminaries at 44.79. This is the relay's second straight Regional qualifying time and the fifth-best in school history.

    Other key performers at the Texas Relays include Nathan Purcell in the 1500m (3:53.18) and Bart Phariss in the men's 5000m (ninth, 14:48.14).

    Through the first two days at the Big Blue Classic at Eastern Illinois, Jake Wiseman finished in second place in the decathlon with a career-best 6984 points. He won the long jump (22-7), took second in the 100m (11.09), tied for fourth in the high jump (6-0.50), second in the shot (43-8) and fourth in the 400 (53.00). He took third in the 110 high hurdles (15.61), threw 128-9 in the discus, went 4.3/14-1.25 in the pole vault, threw a PR 199-8 in the javelin and finished the 1500m. the 4x00 relay of Russell Hollis, Rodney Hollis, Joel Cotton and Kris McAloon won in 7:46.50.
