    Junior Season (2008-09)
    Became just the seventh Hoosier is school history to earn three All-America honors with his fifth-place showing at the NCAA Championships, picking up three wins over nationally-ranked foes ... will look to become the first Hoosier to ever become a four-time All-American in 2009-10 ... advanced to the semifinals at nationals ... won his second consecutive Big Ten championship, defeating #4 Brandon Precin (Northwestern), 3-2, in the title bout ... recorded an overall record of 26-5 with eight pins, a tech fall and four major decisions, finishing the regular season ranked third in the country ... went 19-3 in duals, 6-2 in conference action ... compiled nine victories (9-5) over ranked opponents ... won the Big Ten Wrestler of the Week award on Jan. 20 after his 3-0 showing at the IU Quad that included a first-period pin of #20 Jay Ivanco (Clarion) ... also went undefeated at the Hoosier and F.I.T.E. Duals ... was ranked #1 for the first eight weeks of the regular season ... competed in the U.S. Olympic trials in the summer of '08.

    Sophomore Season (2007-08)
    Won the 125-lb. NCAA National Championship, Big Ten Championship and Midlands title en route to a season record of 34-1 with eight pins and eight major decisions ... his 125-lb. NCAA national crown is the third in the last four years for Indiana as Joe Dubuque captured the top spot in 2005-06 ... topped four ranked adversaries in his run through the NCAAs ... avenged his only loss of the season by defeating Iowa's Charlie Flack in both the Big Ten and NCAA semifinals ... handed Minnesota's Jayson Ness his only two losses on the year, defeating him for the Big Ten and NCAA Championships ... became the first Hoosier to win a Big Ten title since Roger Chandler did so in 1997 ... won 13 of 14 matches versus nationally-ranked opponents ... went 5-0 for his second consecutive Midlands championship ... took out #12 Gabe Flores (Illinois) and #7 Brandon Precin (Northwestern) in final two matches at Midlands ... racked up 92 team points in dual matches, giving up only three ... tallied two pins, a tech fall and major decision at the Hoosier Duals ... stuck all three opponents at the Hoosier Quad in the first period ... won both matches in the National Duals by scores of 10-4 and 14-6 ... was victorious in first 24 matches of the year.

    Freshman Season (2006-07)
    Took fourth place at the NCAA Championships and put together a 39-7 overall record ... advanced to the semifinals at the NCAAs before dropping a 2-0 decision to No. 2 Troy Nickerson from Cornell ... he then won three straight matches in the wrestleback to reach the third-place match, including a 7-3 victory over No. 3 Tanner Gardner ... posted a 16-2 mark in dual meets, including a 6-2 showing in the Big Ten, and added two technical falls and four major decisions ... the seven losses were by a combined 10 points, and all came at the hands of ranked foes ... was 7-7 against ranked opponents on the year ... finished third at Big Tens after defeating Illinois' Gabe Flores in the first tiebreak period ...became the first Hoosier since Pat DeGain (HWT) in 2004 to win the Midlands Championships (12/29) ... took third place at both the Michigan State Open (11/12) and the CKLV Invitational (12/2) ... was named Big Ten Wrestler of the Week (11/28) after winning all five matches and scoring four pins at the Hoosier Duals ... his 14 pins and 39 wins on the season each slot him in the all-time school top-ten rankings, placing him eighth and seventh, respectively ... his 39 victories are the most at IU since Coyte Cooper's 38 wins in 2002-03.

    Redshirt Season (2005-06)
    Carded a 20-3 record during his redshirt season ... placed at all five tournaments he competed in, including two titles at the Michigan State Open and the Kent State Open ... placed third twice (Eastern Michigan Open, Cleveland State Open) and finished fourth at the Missouri Open ... registered five pins and a major decision ... of his three losses, two came against 2006 NCAA qualifiers ... won eight straight matches (11/5-20) ... concluded the year on a seven-match win streak (12/17/05-2/4/06).
