Third-seeded heavyweight at the NCAA Championships ... finished the regular season ranked second nationally in the RPI and fourth by the NCAA Coaches Panel ... has not been defeated in regulation this sea- son ... advanced to the heavyweight finals at the Big Ten Championships ... earned Big Ten Wrestler of the Week honors after topping #2 Mike McMullan of Northwestern to open up the Big Ten dual slate ... came back the following week and majored #25 Collin Jensen at Nebraska ... posted a 9-4 decision over #10 Jimmy Lawson (Penn State) and pinned #10 Connor Medberry (Wis- consin) in back-to-back duals ... followed a major decision of Purdue's Alex White by defeating #3 Tony Nelson at Minnesota last week ... wrapped up the conference slate with decisions over #3 Tony Nelson and #6 Mike McClure ... notched two more wins over top-10 opponents en route to the Michigan State Open title, topping #5 Jeremy Johnson (Ohio) and #7 Mike McClure (Michigan State) ... has not dropped a decision in regulation this season ... dominated the Hoosier Duals, accumulating 27 team points in five dual victories including a first-period pin of #27 Henry Chirino (Northern Colorado) ... reached the finals at the Keystone Classic, finishing as the heavyweight runner-up ... posted an- other win over a nationally-ranked foe while in Philly, topping Campbell's #29 Eloheim Palma ... sat out Midlands due to illness ... 8-2 vs. top-10 foes and 12-2 overall against nationally-ranked opponents.
JUNIOR SEASON (2012-13)
Advanced to the NCAA Championships for the second time in as many seasons as a Hoosier, placing fifth at the Big Ten Championships ... seeded #12 at the NCAAs ... tallied an overall record of 27-11, including a team-leading seven major decisions ... added two falls as well ... slotted #15 and #18 in the final NCAA Coaches Panel and RPI national rankings, respectively ... strung together a 10-match winning streak midseason that included a 4-0 stretch to claim the Keystone Classic title capped off by a 5-3 decision over #5 Mike McMullan (Northwestern) ... defeated a total of five nationally-ranked opponents on the season ... placed second at the Hokie Open, topping #9 Odie Delaney (The Citadel) in the semifinals to reach the title bout ... reached the quarterfinals of the Midlands before suffering an injury ... swept both the Huskie Duals and Hoosier Duals.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2011-12)
Transferred to Indiana at the beginning of the second semester ... advanced to the NCAA Championships in his first season as a Hoosier, placing fifth at Big Tens ... posted an overall mark of 24-13 with seven major decisions and four pins ... opened NCAAs by bringing defending national champion and fourth-seeded Zach Rey (LeHigh) into a sudden victory period ... tallied three wins over nationally-ranked opponents, including a pair of triumphs of #8 Tucker Lane (Nebraska) in both the regular season dual and Big Ten Championships ... began the year with back-to-back fourth-place finishes at the Eastern Michigan and Michigan State Opens while competing for Harper College ... made it to the Southern Scuffle stand in his first competition donning an IU singlet, coming in seventh place.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2010-11); at HARPER COLLEGE
Finished third at the Junior College Nationals ... posted a season record of 24-2 ... led the Harper College Hawks to the non-scholarship National Championship.
Redshirted for the Western Kentucky University football team.
