FRESHMAN SEASON (2011-12)
Started 16 of 19 duals ... recorded an overall mark of 10-20 with three major decisions and a fall ... ended the regular season by winning three of his final four bouts; earning bonus points in each of the three victories (two majors, a pin) ... opened the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational with a major decision ... led #9 Cashe Quiroga (Purdue) by two points late in the third period before cramps kicked in and Quiroga took the final four points of the bout to sneak by with the win ... an Academic All-Big Ten selection.
REDSHIRT SEASON (2010-11)
Won four of five matches on the season with two pins and a major decision ... placed sixth at the Bill Harris Open despite having to withdraw early due to injury ... also won his lone bout at the UNI Open.
PREP/PERSONAL
New Jersey state champion ... led Paulsboro High School to three state titles, placing individually in each of those three seasons (fourth, second, first) ... a member of the National Honor Society ... a Fitness Specialist major.
