    Wrestled at Hofstra ... finished in fourth place at the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament, earning his second trip to the NCAA Championships ... defeated North Carolina's Dennis Drury, 11-10, in the first round of the NCAA wrestleback ... ended the season with an overall record of 18-10, three falls and five major decisions ... began his season with two pins in under a minute to open the Central Jersey Open, an event he took first place at with four straight wins ... took home the title in his second tourney of the year as well, posting another 4-0 mark at the Missouri Open ... majored Penn State's Andrew Haile, 15-6, during a dual match in Happy Valley ... finished sixth at the Southern Scuffle after advancing to the semifinals of the championship bracket.

    FRESHMAN SEASON (2007-08)
    Qualified for the NCAA Championships by placing sixth at the Big Ten Championships as a true freshman ... finished the season with an overall record of 22-16 with four pins and two major decisions ... forced extra time in a sudden victory loss to #12 Joe Rovelli of Hofstra in the NCAAs ... took out Iowa's Chad Beatty and Minnesota's Justin Bronson in front of thousands of their fans in the Big Ten wrestleback ... won the Missouri Open Freshman/Sophomore Division 197-pound title with a 4-0 mark ... strung together a 12-match winning streak midseason that included a combined 7-0 showing at the Hoosier Duals and F.I.T.E. Duals ... went 3-2 in his first trip to the Midlands ... recorded a major decision over Mike Moore (Cornell) at the National Duals ... won back-to-back Big Ten duals by defeating Penn State's Jack Decker and John Weakley of Ohio State within the same week.
