Led the Hoosiers with 13 pins, the 10th highest total in school history ... went 24-19 with those 13 falls and a major decision ... tallied three Big Ten victories ... placed in back-to-back tournaments, taking second at the Michigan State Open and fourth at the Missouri Open ... won seven of 10 matches in those two events ... gathered three wins in the season-opening Eastern Michigan Open ... put together a six-match streak in which he pinned five of his foes ... went 4-for-4 in the Hoosier Duals.
Sophomore Year (2007-08)
Posted a 12-5 season record that included four pins and two major decisions ... advanced to the 149-lbs. finals at the Michigan State Open, winning his first three matches of the event ... finished in fourth place at the Missouri Open, picking up three wins, a major decision and a pin along the way ... won both of his matches in the Hoosier Duals, one via a pin ... arose victorious in first two matches at Midlands ... also garnered a victory in Midlands wrestleback.
Freshman Year (2006-07)
Compiled a 16-9 record during his freshman season with six pins and six major decisions ... began the year by going 3-2 at the Michigan State Open ... followed that up by taking the 141-pound championship at the Missouri Open Freshman/Sophomore Division, winning five straight matches ... dominated the competition at the Missouri F/S with two pin falls, two major decisions and a 10-3 win in the finals ... won back-to-back matches at the Hoosier Duals ... after dropping his first match at Midlands, he won three straight in the wrestleback.
