The Indiana University wrestling team (6-3, 0-1 Big Ten) opens the home portion of its conference season on Sunday, Jan. 13; playing host to the #4 Minnesota Golden Gophers (9-1, 3-0 Big Ten) at 2 p.m. ET inside University Gym on Military & Alumni Appreciation Day.

Indiana finished 19th out of 56 teams at the 50th running of the Midlands despite competing at just six weight classes due to injury and illness
crippling the lineup.
Redshirt sophomore Taylor Walsh led the way for IU, placing fourth in the nation's elite amateur wrestling tournament. He was seeded 10th at 157 pounds and bested three fellow seeded wrestlers, including the second-, seventh- and 11th-seeded foes.
Each of IU's three returning NCAA Qualifiers are ranked amongst the country's elite once again this season. This trio of Hoosiers can be found in the most recent national rankings:
