MEDIA INFORMATION
Tournament Brackets
Tournament pre-seeds will be announced Monday, February 27. Following the seeding meeting on Friday, March 3, tournament brackets will be posted on www.IUHOOSIERS.com.
Brackets will be updated approximately 30 minutes following the end of each session. They will be posted on www.IUHOOSIERS.com in PDF format, made available to any credentialed member of the media in attendance and e-mailed to a distribution list. Please notify Kevin Martinez (kecmarti@indiana.edu) if you wish to have your e-mail address added to the e-mail distribution list. Brackets will not be faxed. Following the conclusion of the championships, a full tournament-results packet will be sent to each Media Relations office.
Credentials
All media members interested in covering the 2006 Big Ten Wrestling Championships should submit credential requests to Kevin Martinez in the Indiana University Sports Information Office via email (kecmarti@indiana.edu). Please request the number of press and photo passes you would like and provide a mailing address where we can send the credentials and any other pertinent information. We must have a name to go with every credential, so please include names along with the specific pass (i.e. Media or Photo) that they need along with their respective media organization.
Once competition begins, media credentials will provide access to Assembly Hall's press row located on the West side of the arena, the media work room, interview room and media hospitality room. Photo credentials will provide access to the designated photo areas on the arena floor, the media work room, interview room and media hospitality room. There is no designated media parking since parking for the event is free.
Photographers
Only those with photo passes will be permitted to shoot from the designated areas on the arena floor. All photographers will be required to wear their credential while they are shooting. The Big Ten Conference prohibits the use of flash photography during this event.

You MUST register your computer with the IU network before you arrive at Assembly Hall if you plan on using the wireless system.
Media Interviews
Interviews will be done on an as needed basis after the second and third sessions. Requests will be made through Kevin Martinez, media relations director for the 2006 Big Ten Championships and Indiana University. Kevin will pass along the media requests to the respective teams, either through their media representative or through a team representative. An Indiana media relations staff member will be around approximately 20 minutes before the end of the second and third session to collect all media requests, which will be handled following the conclusion of the final bout of the session.
All media interviews will be conducted in the Media Interview/Work room. No official press conference will be conducted; rather individual interviews will be done within the media room.
