    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - University Gym will play host to the 2012 Hoosier Duals on Saturday (Dec. 1) as IU Wrestling faces off with Bucknell, Gardner-Webb and SIUE in a round-robin dual competition.

    NATIONALLY-RANKED HOOSIERS
    A trio of Hoosiers are ranked nationally this week. Adam Chalfant is highest on the lists, coming in as the 7th-ranked heavyweight. Ryan LeBlanc (165 lbs.) and Taylor Walsh (157 lbs.) have also been recognized by multiple national publications this week, rankings 16th and 23rd, respectively in their weight classes.

    CHALFANT WINS KEYSTONE CLASSIC HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
    Redshirt junior heavyweight Adam Chalfant is coming off a championship run at the Keystone Classic (Nov. 18), taking four consecutive bouts to earn the individual crown. His championship-capping triumph came over the (then) 5th-ranked heavyweight in the nation, Mike McMullan of Northwestern. Chalfant cruised through his first two bouts with a pair of major decisions by a combined score of 29-6 before a hard-fought 3-2 decision over American University's Blake Herrin in the semifinals. He topped McMullan, 5-3, in the finals.

    COME BACK TO UNIVERSITY GYM
    Four Big Ten foes will visit Bloomington during the 2012-13 season. University Gym will play host to some of the elite wrestlers in the entire country as #2 Minnesota (Jan. 13), #5 Ohio State (Jan. 18), #25 Michigan (Feb. 1) and #15 Northwestern (Feb. 23) are all ranked inside the top-25.
