Bloomington, Ind.-The Indiana men captured six of 16 events as the Hoosiers opened the 2000 indoor track & field season in the Early Bird Invitational at the Gladstein Fieldhouse.
Ryan Huber (600 meters 1:20.96) and Russell Brooks (60 meters 6.8) were the Hoosier's track victors. Efthimiou's vault bettered his top mark from last season by .11 meters.
"Dino's been much better in practice, so I expect to see better out of him this season," Men's Track & Field Head Coach Marshall Goss said.
