BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University men's cross country team was honored as a 2006 United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division I All-Academic Cross Country Team.

The Hoosiers were one of 86 teams that received the team honor for the 2006 season as Indiana boasted a team GPA of 3.060. To be honored as an All-Academic team, teams were required to compete in an NCAA regional meet and have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Indiana also received honors for its academic successes as it placed four runners on the 2006 Big Ten Academic All-Conference team, including redshirt sophomore Paul Coover, redshirt freshmen Jordan Kyle, Tom Martin and Darryl Stevenson.
