    Bloomington, Ind. - For the fourth straight season, the Indiana men's cross country team has been named an All-Academic cross country team by the United States Cross Country Coaches Association. In order for a team to be honored, it must have a team average GPA of 3.00 or better for the athletes who competed during the season.

    The Hoosiers are enjoying success both on and off the cross country course. IU made its third straight NCAA Championship appearance last fall, and four Hoosiers - Tom Burns, William Coale, Sean Jefferson and Eric Redman - received Academic All-Big Ten honors Sean Jefferson (mile), John Jefferson (mile) and Stephen Haas (3,000m and 5,000m) are three of the five Indiana athletes slated to compete in the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship this weekend in Fayetteville, Ark.
