Men's Team Ranked 17th in MONDO Cross Country Preseason Poll

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.-The Indiana men's cross country team received a No. 17 ranking in the Mondo men's cross country preseason poll for the week of Sept. 19.
The Big Ten is well represented in the poll, with seven schools in the top thirty, including Wisconsin (No. 1), Ohio State (No. 13), Iowa (No. 16), Minnesota (No. 25), Michigan (No. 27), and Michigan State (No. 30). Indiana is fifth in the Great Lakes Region behind Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Butler.
The Hoosiers finished second in their first competitive meet of the year behind Indiana State at the Indiana Intercollegiates on Sept. 16. Senior Eric Redman finished first for the Hoosiers and second overall on the Hoosier's home course.
The men's next meet will be on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago, Ill. Race time is set for 10 a.m.
