    MEN IMPROVE AFTER WEEK OFF, FINISH SECOND

    Terre Haute, Ind. -- The Indiana men's cc team showed the benefits of the week off by finishing second at the 8k Indiana State Invitational Saturday.

    IU sophomore Aaron Gillen led the men's team with a third palce overall finish in 25:23.74. Gillen has led Indiana in every meet this season.

    Junior Tom Breckenridge just missed the top ten, finishing 11th and beating his best time of the season by more than one minute. Juniors Jon Teipen and Dan Billis also improved their season best times and finished third and fourth, respectively, for Indiana.

    Next meet: The Hoosiers run at the Indiana Intercollegiates in West Lafayette Firiday October 16th at 4:30 p.m.
