    INDIANA FINISHES NINTH AT GREAT LAKES REGIONAL

    Terre Haute, Ind.- Indiana competed in the Greak Lakes Regional Championships today in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Hoosiers came in ninth place with 276 points.

    IU's top finisher was freshman Amanda Bell who came in 15th place with a time of 17:41.2. Bell is coming off being named to the women's All-Big Ten Cross Country Team this week. This was the seventh time that she has finihed first in a race for the Hoosiers. The next runner for IU was another frehman, Allyson Hammond who came in 18th place with a time of 17:45.6. This time was a season best for Hammond. Her old time was 18:06.6.

    Indiana will host the NCAA Division I Championship on November 22 at the IU Cross Country Course. The women will start at 12:15 p.m.
