BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Athletics has announced that freshman Antonio Allen (football) and sophomore Caroline Comey (rowing) have been named the Scholar-Athletes of the Month for April.
Antonio Allen: Football, Freshman, Undecided
"Antonio is a delightful and respectful young man who has probably deserved this distinction every month since his arrival last summer. He followed his very strong academic performances from the summer and fall with another awesome effort this spring. Antonio is the embodiment of what a student-athlete should be and his determination and work ethic is second to none on this football team. He has set the stage for some great academic achievements and we can't wait to watch him reach his potential inside and outside the classroom." - Dustin Swanson, Director of Academic Services for Football
Caroline Comey: Rowing, Sophomore, Communication and Culture
"Caroline has been on a mission since January to prove what she is capable of in the classroom. I've never seen her more determined and invested in her education than this spring. It has been exciting to witness and celebrate all of Caroline's academic achievements this semester and I know this is just the start of a great future for her." - Eileen O'Rourke, Academic Advisor
