Alpha Beta Honorary
In Greek, alpha and beta are the first and second letters in the alphabet; in astronomy, they are the first and second brightest stars in a constellation. For Indiana University's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, they represent the A's and B's that demonstrate academic excellence.
The Alpha Beta Honorary recognizes those student-athletes who have earned a minimum 3.2 grade point average in their most recent academic semester. We congratulate them for their dedication and for their success in balancing academics and athletics. An asterisk denotes a 3.5 GPA or better. A 3.0 GPA was required prior to Spring 2007.
