Sophomore Jori Davis netted 12 points and added two boards, two assists and a steal.

Penn State's (8-11, 3-6) Tyra Grant sank a 3-pointer to open the game at the 19:33 mark, only to see Whitney Thomas match it with a 3 of her own at the 19:05 mark to knot the game 3-3. After a jumper by Braun with 17:59 on the clock, the Lady Lions put together a 17-6 run to build up a 20-11 lead with 10:40 to go in the first half. Following a pair of missed free throws, Davis netted a jumper that started a 13-5 Indiana run that gave the Hoosiers a 41-36 lead, with 14:28 to go. A jumper from Trogele at the 14-minute mark was the last field goal by the Lady Lions as Indiana tightened up its defense allowing PSU to only score on free throws for just over six and half minutes to build up a 51-43 lead with 7:21 left to play. The Hoosiers went on to lead by as many as 11 en route to the 65-55 win.
