BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana fell at home to Ohio State on Sunday afternoon in Assembly Hall, 70-56. Jasmine McGhee led the Hoosiers with 15 points as Aulani Sinclair added 14 points.

Both teams battled back and forth to start. McGhee hit her first 3-pointer of the day at the 13:39 mark of the first half to tie the game at 11-11. Nicole Bell followed with a drive and layup to push IU ahead 13-11.

Later in the half with game tied again, McGhee connected on another attempt from beyond the arc to give IU a 20-17 edge with 9:24 remaining in the half. OSU then rattled off a 17-4 run to take a 10-point lead, 34-24, after a Tayler Hill lay in with 1:13 on the clock.

The Hoosiers finished the half strong as Sinclair and Bell connected on consecutive 3-point field goals in the final minute to make it a 34-30 score halftime.

Out of the break, Indiana outscored the Buckeyes 8-2 in the first 3:11 of the second half to tie the game, 38-38, after another Bell drive and layup. But again, Ohio State strung together a large run, outscoring Indiana 17-3 over a 4:20 span to lead 55-41 with 12:08 to go.

IU then made another push to get back into the ballgame. Sinclair started things with a jumper before she found an open Simone Deloach for a layup on a later Indiana possession. After an OSU free throw and field goal, Deloach hit a free throw of her own to make it 58-46 game.

On a long rebound, IU's Deloach hustled to the floor to grab a loose ball and found an open Sinclair on the wing for a 3-pointer to cut the OSU lead to single digits. McGhee then capped a 10-3 Hoosier run by making a pair from the charity stripe to make it a 58-51 Buckeye lead with 8:48 to go.

But Hill responded for Ohio State with a layup on a later Buckeye possession to end the IU run. OSU limited Indiana to just five points over the last eight minutes to earn the victory.

IU's Sinclair tied for the team lead with eight rebounds and added two assists. Bell finished with nine points, shooting 4-of-7 from the field in 38 minutes of play. Milika Taufa collected eight boards for the Hoosiers to go along with four points.
