EAST LANSING, Mich. - Indiana fell on the road to No. 21 Michigan State in the Breslin Center on Sunday night, 76-56. Four Spartans scored in double figures as Lyndsay Leikem led IU with 11 points.

Indiana (18-11, 5-11) scored five straight points to take a 5-2 lead to start. Michigan State (20-8, 13-3) fired back with an 8-0 run to lead 10-5 with 15:21 on the clock. Simone Deloach halted the run with a layup. After an MSU field goal, Leikem nailed a 3-pointer for the Hoosiers to make it a 12-10 Spartan lead with 13:21 on the clock.

Michigan State later used a 9-0 spurt to build a 23-12 advantage while IU was in the midst of a 5:10 scoring drought. Milika Taufa was a spark off the bench that silenced the drought as she took two charges and scored on an old-fashioned three-point play after she entered the game to cut the MSU lead to eight.

Another Taufa field goal and a Leikem 3-pointer made it a 31-26 score in favor of Michigan State with 1:56 to go in the half. But before the half, the Spartans strung together another run of 7-0 to take a 38-26 lead into the break.

Michigan State came out of the halftime break firing on all cylinders outscoring Indiana 11-2 in the first 3:31 to build a 49-28 lead. From that point on, the Spartans never looked back. The win gave MSU a share of the Big Ten regular season title.

The Spartans were led by Aerial Powers' 23 points and 10 rebounds as MSU outscored IU in fast-break points, 24-4.

Indiana's bench scored 34 points in the game led by Leikem. She hit 3-of-4 3-point field goals on the night. Taufa added seven points coming off the bench as well.

The Hoosiers will now head to the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 10 seed to take on seventh-seeded Michigan on Thursday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. ET at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind.
