    Felisha Legette-Jack

    Opening Statement
"One thing we've been stressing on our team this year, anybody that's involved with this program, the energy has to be positive, contagious and the energy has to turn into a synergy type of energy. These young ladies have been doing a tremendous job of really working towards stepping outside of themselves and really trying to give up themselves for the betterment of this team and when you get six people on your team in double figures, I think you've got an opportunity to be successful. We've got some things we've got to work on in order to go after our next game on Sunday, but we're going to enjoy this moment as long as we can tonight."

    On battling throughout the game
"We really try not to look at the score, I just tell them to play basketball. Coaches do a great job of understanding time and score. Our coaches did a great job of coming up with plays when it was close. Our guys didn't have to look up and see and start panicking. We had a play right away and ran them and had easy access to the bucket. There wasn't an individual play but it was a team energy that came back and it created our synergy."

    Sophomore Point Guard Whitney Lindsay

On not recording a turnover in the first half
"I think the other four people on the court with me made me look good tonight. I definitely think that I found our strength in our post, so I was doing the best I could to get good post feeds inside to Amber (Jackson) and Whitney (Thomas) and they were finishing and making me look good. I had guards on the wing like Jori (Davis) and Kim (Roberson), Andrea McGuirt - they were getting open on the wings for me so it made it easy for me to not have many turnovers. Especially in the first half, I think we did a great job of taking care of the ball.'

    Senior Forward Amber Jackson

    On success in the paint
"I felt as a team that we realized that we had an advantage on the inside so Coach Jack stressed to get the ball in and play from the inside out. We had a one-on-one opportunity to take advantage of it and if not to pass it out to our great shooters. "
