    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's basketball team celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by volunteering their time on Monday morning at the Bloomington Boys and Girls Club. The boys and girls club celebrated the holiday with "a day on!" and provided educational, recreational and artistic activities throughout the day that focused on the teachings, actions and life of Martin Luther King, Jr.

    During their visit on Monday morning, the team participated in activities with the kids that celebrated African American female athletes throughout history.

    The Hoosiers will return to the basketball court on Thursday, Jan. 19, as IU will battle in-state rival Purdue at 8 p.m. ET at Assembly Hall.
