    The Hoosiers will look to bounce back from a tough loss when they host Wisconsin on Student Night in Assembly Hall on Thursday, Jan. 31. Tip-off against the Badgers is set for 7 p.m. ET.     IU head coach Felisha Legette-Jack is in her second year at the helm of the Hoosier program with a career mark of 85-85 over six seasons. She led the Hoosiers to the third round of the 2007 WNIT and to a 19-14 overall mark last season.

    Wisconsin head coach Lisa Stone is in her 23rd year as a head coach and her fifth year at the helm of the Badger program. Stone owns a career mark of 441-191 and a record of 66-73 at Wisconsin.

    Wisconsin enters Thursday's game with a 10-9 overall mark and a record of 3-6 in the Big Ten. The Badgers are coming off of back-to-back wins at home against Penn State and Northwestern.

    Wisconsin defeated both opponents by a combined 57 points. In its last win, Jolene Anderson led all players with 24 points and 11 rebounds in a 75-45 victory over Penn State. Janese Banks added 15 points in the win, while the Wisconsin bench scored 22 points in the effort. The Badgers outrebounded the Lady Lions, 42-30, and shot 48.4 percent from the floor.

    Wisconsin is averaging 71.3 points and 41.8 boards per game as a team, and is shooting 41.0 percent from the field. Anderson leads UW with 19.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, while Banks is clocking 14.5 points per game and has tallied a team-high 81 assists in 19 games.

    The Hoosiers split with the Badgers last season, winning the first meeting in Bloomington (83-56) and falling in Madison (60-53).

    In the first meeting, five Hoosiers scored in double-digits, including 22 points by Nikki Smith and a double-double from Whitney Thomas (10 pts., 10 reb.). IU shot 47.6 percent from the floor, but were outrebounded, 44-40.

    In the second meeting, Jamie Braun netted 16 points off the bench, while Smith added 15 points and Kim Roberson sank 11 points in the effort. The Hoosiers shot 30.4 percent from the floor in the Kohl Center and were outrebounded, 48-23.

    THE 700-700 CLUB
    With her 13 points at Michigan, Whitney Thomas eclipsed 700 points (706) to go along with her 712 rebounds. Thomas entered last Thursday's game with 693 career points and 701 rebounds. She eclipsed the 700-board mark against Michigan State on Sunday, Jan. 20 when she grabbed 12 caroms.

    Whitney Thomas currently ranks third in the Big Ten with 9.8 rebounds per game and tops the league in offensive grabs (3.55) and is also third on the defensive glass (6.25). Her 9.8 boards per contest also ranks 23rd in the nation, and she is averaging 11.3 rebounds per Big Ten game, which leads the league.

    Senior Nikki Smith is on her way to becoming one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in Indiana women's basketball history.

    She currently ranks fourth in the IU record book with 171 3-pointers made. Smith is two treys from taking over third place all-time, which is currently held by Cyndi Valentin (172 made, 2003-06). She has attempted 471 career treys and owns a career .363 shooting percentage from the beyond the arc, both of which rank fifth in the IU record book.
