BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Check out what's going on this week in Indiana women's basketball:
Tuesday, Feb. 8: Catch Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack with Sheila Stephen on Hoosier Country WHCC 105.1 FM at 1 p.m. ET as she talks about what is going on with the Hoosiers.
Thursday, Feb. 10: The Hoosiers will hit the road to battle Big Ten foe Illinois. IU and the Fighting Illini will tip at 7 p.m. ET.
Saturday, Feb. 12: Coach Jack, Associate Head Coach Jose Mori and Assistant Athletic Director for Women's Basketball Administration Stephanie Siler will be attending the annual awards banquet to honor distinguished women during the National Girls and Women in Sport Day dinner at the Henke Hall of Champions. This year's keynote speaker is 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist in Gymnastics, Dominique Dawes. Also in attendance will be ESPN sportscaster and IU alumna, Sage Steele. The IU School of Health, Physical Education, Recreation (HPER), Indiana Alumni Association and the Office of Women's affairs co-sponsor the event. Visit www.hper.indiana.edu for more information.
Sunday, Feb. 13: Indiana will host Penn State at 12:30 p.m. ET. Help the women's basketball program recognize the fight against breast cancer with the annual Pink Zone Game. Fans are encouraged to wear pink, anyone doing so will receive admission for only $2. The first 200 fans to arrive to Assembly Hall receive a pink water bottle. There will be a special halftime ceremony for cancer survivors. Fans are also encouraged to bring someone special to the game and celebrate Valentine's Day a little early. There will be special prizes given away throughout the game. The halftime performance will be the Jackson Creek Middle School Jaguar Elite Dance Group. The Hoosiers will also welcome to the game Marlin, Fairview and Childs Elementary Schools. This game will be aired live on the Big Ten Network.
