    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The IU Alumni Association, the IU Varsity Club, the I Association and the Monroe County Chapter of the IUAA are teaming up to send-off the Indiana women's basketball team as they head to Indianapolis for the 2009 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament.

    Join alumni and fans at the DeVault Alumni Center (1000 E. 17th Street, across the street from Assembly Hall) as IU Athletics celebrates a great season of Hoosier women's basketball. The special send-off party will be from 6:30-8 p.m., and will feature Bucceto's Pizza and refreshments.

    IU head coach Felisha Legette-Jack will address alumni and fans at approximately 7:15 p.m., and members of the coaching staff and team will be on-hand for a meet and greet with those who attend.

    IU cheerleaders will help get fans fired up for the upcoming Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament as the Hoosiers make a run for the title.

    The tournament takes place March 5-8 at Conseco Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis, and features all 11 Big Ten teams battling in 10 games over four days of competition. The winner will earn the conference's coveted automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

    The single-session tickets ($12-$16) will be available at the Conseco Fieldhouse box office, Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling Ticketmaster at (317) 239-5151. All-session tickets are still available for $65.
