Indiana to Take On Michigan State in Big Ten Tournament

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's basketball team will battle Michigan State on Thursday night in game two of the second session of the 2012 Big Ten Tournament. The game will take place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and will be aired live on the Big Ten Network. IU is the No. 12 seed as the Spartans are seeded fifth.
The meeting will be just second between the two schools in Big Ten Tournament play. MSU topped Indiana in the 1999 tournament in their only meeting in tournament action. The Spartans got the best of the Hoosiers in the two meetings that took place during the 2011-12 regular season.
IU is 14-16 all-time in the Big Ten Tournament and has won in its first round game 10 times in 17 tournaments played. Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack is 3-2 in opening Big Ten Tournament games during her tenure at Indiana.

The tournament this year will feature six sessions for the first time with the addition of Nebraska into this year's bracket. Play will being on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. ET.
