    Legette-Jack Honored with IU Office of Women's Affairs Distinguished Staff Award

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head women's basketball coach Felisha Legette-Jack has been selected as the 2009 IU Office of Women's Affairs Distinguished Staff Award winner.

    The award is given to a female member of the Indiana University Bloomington staff who has made extraordinary contributions to the University. IU Provost Karen Hanson will present Legette-Jack with the award at the OWA Awards Ceremony on May 11, at 4 p.m. in the President's Room of the IMU.

    Legette-Jack is in her third year as the head coach of the Hoosiers and has led Indiana to its first 20-win season since the 2000-01 season. She currently holds a record of 56-39 at Indiana and a career mark of 110-102. Legette-Jack reached her 100th career win at Michigan State on Dec. 29, 2008 and reached her 50th win as the Hoosier mentor against Purdue Jan. 19.
