    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's basketball team will host Northwestern in the third round of the 2014 Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) in Assembly Hall on Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. ET.

    The Hoosiers earned their way into the WNIT round of 16 with a 72-69 win over Marquette in the second round on Saturday in Bloomington. It was IU's 20th win of the season, marking the sixth time in program history an IU team had won 20 or more games.

    Northwestern topped IUPUI, 88-52, in its second round matchup in Evanston, Ill. on Sunday afternoon. The Wildcats now hold a 17-15 record this season.

    Indiana and Northwestern met once during Big Ten play this season in Assembly Hall on Jan. 30 and the Wildcats came out on top in that matchup, 58-52.
