    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - After leading Ft. Wayne Concordia to the Indiana Class 3A state title, incoming point guard Andrea Newbauer was named to the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association Senior All-State Team and earned a spot on the Indiana All-Star roster.

    Newbauer, a 5-foot-9 point guard, will join the 2010-11 freshmen class at Indiana. She signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her career at IU last November. She averaged 13.5 points her senior season and led the Cadets to a 24-3 record.

    She is the 34th incoming IU women's basketball player to be named an Indiana All-Star, along with current Hoosiers Lindsay Enterline and Aulani Sinclair. Newbauer and the Indiana All-Stars will play the Kentucky All-Stars on June 11 at Bellarmine University in Louisville and at Conseco Fieldhouse on June. 12.
