BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's basketball staff outlasted the Wonderlab Wonder Women on the volleyball court on Tuesday night, 2-1. The Wonder Women won the basketball matchup last year, but the IU staff came to play this time around.

The Wonder Women took game one of the three game match, 25-22, as David Jack, coach of the team for the night and husband of IU head women's basketball coach Felisha Legette-Jack, bumped the ball over the net just inside the line to earn the win. The IU Staff bounced back in game two with a 26-24 triumph to even the match, thanks to a timely timeout midway through to calm the team down after a rough start. In the final game, the momentum continued for the Hoosier Staff as they picked up a 25-22 win.

The event took place at the University Gym on the Indiana University campus and it was the result of a fundraiser that took place last fall for the Wonderlab located in Bloomington. The Wonder Women, headed by IU first lady Laurie McRobbie, won the bid in a silent auction to take on the Hoosier staff.
