    During the offseason, Indiana postseason captains junior forward Whitney Thomas and freshman guard Jori Davis will give Hoosier fans an inside look at what the team does during the last few weeks of classes and over the summer to prepare for the upcoming season.

    This week, Thomas talks about IU's first week of summer workouts.

    Postseason Training Week Three with Whitney Thomas (May 13-16)
    We have started morning workourts. We are lifting and conditioning with Coach Tom (Morris). We are getting stronger and better each day. We have also been playing pick up games everyday. Over the summer, the team is reading an inspirational book that we all are going to talk about at the end of the summer. We are always looking for ways to learn and grow together.

    This week, Davis recaps the week from the weight room to the court.

    Postseason Training Week Two with Jori Davis (April 14-18)
    Going into the first week of postseason workouts, many of us were a little nervous. However, now that we all have the first week under our belts, the second felt like a breeze. Well, not so much a breeze because they were still very intense. Coach (Tom) Morris not only added reps to our workout routine, he also added a few exercises to the equation. He pushed us to our physical and mental limits, but we all knew it would be worth it.

    Outside of the weight room the team got together a few times to play pick-up and work on a few basketball skills. The team also participated in individual workouts, which were targeted towards improving our Basketball I.Q. and our understanding on a few new offenses.

    This week was very successful and I am very proud of the team and how hard we worked.



    Postseason Training Week One with Whitney Thomas (April 7-11)

    This week was the start of our postseason workouts. We were all very excited to get started for preperation of next year. We worked out in the weight room on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Coach Tom (Morris). The workouts were very intense and he pushed us very hard. He is focusing on turning our weaknesses into strengths.

    The coaches went to the Final Four this week and came back on Wednesday with some new X's and O's. We had a practice on Thursday and were very excited to learn some new basketball concepts that we can use for next season.

    On Friday our entire team participated in the start of the Women's Little 500 race.

    This was a great first week and we are all working hard to get better and stronger.
