IU Women's Basketball to Host Three More Camps This Summer

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Following the Hoosier Shootout on Saturday, June 6, the Indiana women's basketball team will host three more camps in Bloomington this summer.
On June 9-12, IU will host the Jack Attack Skills Camp for students in grades 9-12. The camp is designed for players who aspire to play basketball at the highest level. Campers will receive position specific skill instruction from IU head coach Felisha Legette-Jack and other collegiate coaches. Drills, instructions and competition at this camp are intense and sure to be challenging.
The Hoosiers will host a Fundamental Camp on June 21-24 for students in grades 4-12. This camp is designed to develop fundamental basketball skills and teach the dynamics of teamwork and sportsmanship. Camp will be divided into groups based on age and skill level. Campers will receive individual skill instruction in a fun, yet competitive environment.
On June 26-28, Coach Jack and the staff will host a Team Camp for students in grades 6-12. High school, junior high and AAU team from around the country will travel to Bloomington to experience the exciting competition of the Team Camp. Teams are placed in pools according to skill level and then guaranteed at least seven games against appropriate opponents as well as an automatic berth in the camp tournament. Teams must consist of at least seven players and one adult coach.
Each camp features the experience of playing in Assembly Hall, individual instruction from Coach Jack and other collegiate basketball coaches and players, low camper-to-coach ratios, team play, guest and motivational speakers, an awards ceremony and on-site athletic trainers 24-hours per day.
Every camper also receives a camp t-shirt and special camp giveaways.
