BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Members of the Indiana women's basketball team and staff did their part in greeting freshmen during Welcome Week on Friday, Aug. 26.

It began with Traditions and Spirit at Assembly Hall in the afternoon. This is a yearly event where freshmen get introduced to the IU fight song as well as other athletic traditions. Coaches, players, cheerleaders and members of the marching hundred participate to get the freshmen excited for Indiana athletics.

Then in the evening, the women's basketball team headed to Walmart for Midnight Madness. This yearly event brings freshmen from campus to Walmart by bus to take advantage for great deals for the every day needs of college students.
