    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's basketball team gathered to hold media day in Assembly Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Along with taking the Hoosiers' annual team photo, players and coaches spent time speaking with media from around the state.

    The Hoosiers continue preseason workouts until Friday, Oct. 17 when Indiana holds Hoosiers Hysteria in Assembly Hall. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the cost of admission is three canned goods or a cash donation both of which will benefit the Hoosier Hills Food Bank. The evening will begin with an autograph session at 6 p.m. Following the Hoosier volleyball match vs. Ohio State at 7 p.m., both the men's and women's basketball teams will each take the floor for their first official practice session of the season.

    Indiana head coach Felisha Legette-Jack and the Hoosiers will face Southern Indiana in their first exhibition game on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. on Branch McCracken Court. IU will face the University of Indianapolis in its second and final exhibition contest on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m., before opening the regular season with Ball State in Assembly Hall in the first round of the Preseason Women's National Invitation Tournament on Friday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.
