Getting to Know Danilsa Andujar
I chose IU for many reasons. I was engaged by the coaching staff's passion and the success of the program. The team's chemistry was amazing, and I was welcomed with open arms on my visit. The school tradition and spirit felt great. I just loved the Hoosier atmosphere, and I felt like I would be challenged to become a great basketball player, as well as an individual here, which is something I yearned for. Also because I want to major in business, and The Kelley School of Business is a great place to do that.
What kind of legacy do you wish to leave behind at IU?
I want to leave behind championships. I also want to leave behind the understanding of hard work, on and off the court. Ultimately, I want people to know how great we are, and get more people to support our program.
Do you have any pre-game rituals and what are they?
Listen to my iPod, and go over game situations in my head.
According to Danilsa:
I have: many friends.
I want: to be the best I can be in every aspect of life.
I will: succeed.
I can: be anything I set my heart to.
I love: basketball, music, and food!
