    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's basketball team will face its second consecutive opponent from the city of Dayton, Ohio, when it opens the Miami (Fla.) Thanksgiving Tournament against Wright State on Friday, Nov. 24, 5 p.m. (EST) in the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fla.

    The Hoosiers (4-0) recorded their fourth straight win when they defeated Dayton, 98-71, on Nov. 19, in Assembly Hall. Five players scored in double-digits for a second consecutive game as senior Sarah McKay led the way with a career-high 28 points. McKay hit 11-of-12 from the floor, including a three-pointer, and went 5-of-6 from the line in 19 minutes on the court. Senior Leah Enterline scored 17 points for the second time this year and was followed by sophomore Whitney Thomas with 13 points, junior Nikki Smith with 11 and senior Carrie Smith with 10 points.

    The Raiders opened the season 0-2 with back-to-back losses to Ball State and Miami (Ohio). Wright State opened the season with a 75-68 loss at Ball State on Nov. 18, before falling in its home opener to the RedHawks, 90-63, on Nov. 21. Brittney Whiteside is currently leading the Raiders with 15.5 points per game.

    Indiana leads the all-time series with Wright State, 4-0. In the two teams last meeting, the Hoosiers defeated the Raiders, 80-48, on Dec. 11, 1998, in the Hatter Classic in DeLan, Fla. Indiana is 2-0 against the Raiders in Bloomington and 1-0 against WSU in Dayton.

    This weekend marks the second tournament for the Hoosiers this season. IU opened the regular season by winning the Women's Sports Foundation Classic, hosted by Kentucky, on Nov. 10 and 12, in Lexington. IU defeated Wake Forest, 75-53, in the opening game of the Classic and followed with a 54-51 upset of then-No. 15/16 Kentucky, in the championship game. Freshman Jamie Braun brought home tournament MVP honors, while sophomore Kim Roberson earned all-tourney accolades.

    Indiana will either face host Miami or Nicholls State on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 5 or 7 p.m. The Hurricanes are currently 4-1 with wins over Georgia State (11/10, 68-60), Wisconsin-Milwaukee (11/13, 78-71), Santa Clara (11/15, 85-83) and San Francisco (11/19, 69-59). Miami's lone loss was suffered at Saint Mary's on Nov. 17 (68-69). Nicholls State is currently 0-3 with losses at Arizona (11/14, 41-83), at Arizona State (11/15, 46-91) and at Centenary (11/18, 66-79).
