    The Hoosiers return to Assembly Hall to face No. 12/9 Florida State in the third annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear to the game to donate to a local charity and receive FREE ADMISSION, as well win prizes throughout the game. Thursday's contest will also be aired live on the Big Ten Network as Leah Secondo and Vera Jones will call the action from the Hall. The game will also be broadcast live locally on WHCC 105.1 FM with Jeremy Gray on the call.

    LAST TIME OUT
    Senior Jamie Braun and junior Jori Davis combined for 45 points as they led the Indiana women's basketball team to a 72-61 win over Charlotte in the consolation game of the Junkanoo Jam in Freeport, Bahamas. The Hoosiers (4-2) finished in third place in the Thanksgiving holiday tournament.

    Braun sank 6-of-9 from the field, 5-of-7 from the 3-point line and 7-of-8 from the stripe for 24 points. She added seven rebounds, four on the offensive end, and three assists in 36 minutes off the bench. Davis netted 9-of-17 from the field and 3-of-5 from the free throw line for 21 points, and tallied a team-high eight rebounds and four steals in 36 minutes. On the tournament, Davis totaled 54 points, 15 rebounds and eight steals to earn all-tournament honors.

    Sophomore Sasha Chaplin also netted double-digits for Indiana with 11 points to go along with four boards, two assists and one steal. The Hoosiers shot 44.0 percent (11-of-29) from the field on the game and 46.2 percent (6-of-13) from beyond the arc. IU only committed 10 turnovers and tallied 12 steals off of 17 Charlotte miscues.

    THE COACHES
    IU head coach Felisha Legette-Jack enters her fourth season at the helm of the Hoosiers with a record of 62-42 and a career mark of 116-105. In three season, she has led the Hoosiers to 18-plus wins and three consecutive trips to the postseason.

    Sue Semrau enters her 13th year leading the Seminoles with a career mark of 211-160. Last season, she led Florida State to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

    WHAT'S COMING UP
    The Hoosiers open the Big Ten slate on Sunday, Dec. 6 when they take on No. 22 Michigan State in East Lansing on the Big Ten Network at Noon ET.

    NOTES OF INTEREST
    • Thursday's meeting marks the fourth between Indiana and Florida State, with the Seminoles leading, 3-1.
    • The Hoosiers are 1-1 all-time in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, losing to Florida State in 2007, 85-78, and beating Miami, 69-54, in 2008.
    • In six games, the IU bench is averaging 24.7 points per game.
    • IU won it's 600th game in program history on Friday, Nov. 13 with a 78-74 triumph over Memphis.

    SCOUTING THE SEMINOLES
    Florida State enters Thursday's game 6-0 and ranked No. 9 in this week's coaches poll and No. 12 in the AP poll. The Seminoles are coming off of back-to-back homes wins over Auburn (82-67) and Missouri (73-66) and are 2-0 on the road with wins at Florida (66-620 and Georgia State (66-53).

    FSU is led by Jacinta Monroe with 14.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Alysha Harvin is also averaging double-digit points with 10.5 per contest. The Seminoles are averaging 77.8 points and 42.7 rebounds per game and holding their opponents to 55.5 points per game.

    LAST TIME VS. FSU
    Jamie Braun recorded her first double-double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the Indiana women's basketball team fell to No. 21/22 Florida State, 85-78, in Assembly Hall on Friday, Nov. 30 in the inaugural Big Ten/ACC Women's Basketball Challenge.

    Braun led Indiana with her first double-double of the season as she recorded 16 points and 11 rebounds to go along with six assists and three steals. Jori Davis also scored in double-figures for the Hoosiers as she netted 10 points.

    Florida State boasted five players in double-figures and was paced by Freshour, who led all players with 21 points. The Hoosiers won the battle of the boards, 40-35, but were outscored from the floor, 53.8 (28-of-52) percent to 45.3 (29-64) percent.HOOSIERS IN THE CHALLENGE
    Indiana is 1-1 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, losing to Florida State, 85-78, in Assembly Hall on Nov. 30, 2007, and winning at Miami, 69-54, on Dec. 5, 2008.

    SUPERHUMAN
    Jori Davis became a little superhuman last week in the Hoosiers' two games against No. 14/15 Virginia and Charlotte in the Junkanoo Jam. With only 3 points in the first half and the Hoosiers in a 16-point hole, Davis brought IU back as she netted 30 points in 20 minutes in a five-point defeat. She then went on to score 21 points the next day in Indiana's 72-61 win over Charlotte. On the week, Davis recorded 54 points, 15 rebounds and eight steals to earn all-tournament honors in the Reef Division. Her 33 points also ranks 10th in IU single-game history, tying her with Lori Meinerding (vs. Houston, 1989).
