December 1, 1999 HOOSIERS FALL TO VANDERBILT
Nashville, Tenn.--Vanderbilt used a 13-3 run to start the second half to turn a seven-point led into a 17-point advantage en route to a 74-54 victory over the Hoosiers.
Indiana played a tight first half on the road staying close to Vanderbilt throughout the opening 20:00. The Hoosiers erased an eight-point lead to pull within two of the Commodores with 4:27 left to play in the half. Vanderbilt went on a 9-2 run to take a 32-23 lead into the locker room.
The Commodores came out of the locker room and outscored the Hoosiers by ten and never looked back from that point.
Jill Chapman led Indiana with 16 points, four rebounds and four steals. Heather Cassady added 14 points while Rainey Alting added 11.
