    IU Field Hockey to Honor Seniors on Sunday

    The Hoosiers will honor six seniors prior to their game vs. Michigan State.

    2010 (SENIOR): Will move to student assistant coach after suffering a career-ending injury in 2010.

    2010 (JUNIOR): Started 16 games for IU ... scored her first goal of the season against Missouri State (Sept. 19) on one shot ... took two shots at Bucknell (Sept. 26) ... scored the game-winning goal in OT against Louisville on two shots (Oct. 5) ... recorded her second game-winning goal in OT on one shot against Iowa (Oct. 15) ... ended the season with three goals for six points ... took eight shots, five were on goal.

    2009 (SOPHOMORE): Named Longstreth/NFHCA and womensfieldhockey.com Third Team All-American, also named Longstreth/NFHCA West All-Region First Team and First Team All-Big Ten ... an Academic All-Big Ten and Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad honoree ... played in all 21 games, starting 20 ... tied for second on the team in goals (five) ... totaled 12 points on the season to place her in top-five on team ... her pinpoint accuracy shooting led her to lead the team in shooting percentage (.417) ... netted game winning goal against in-state rival Ball State (Sep. 19) ... assisted on key goal in Big Ten conference clash against Penn State in 4-1 victory (Oct. 23) ... in pivotal Big Ten Tournament play continued her stellar play against her home-state team by finding the back of the net against Penn State in a 3-1 triumph (Nov. 6).

    2008 (FRESHMAN): Played in all 18 games, making 11 starts in her rookie campaign ... recorded her first career shot and shot on goal in a 5-1 win over Missouri State on Sept. 6 ... got her first career start against Rutgers in the season opener on Aug. 29.

    PREP/PERSONAL: Four-year letterwinner and captain as a senior ... selected as Lancaster Lebanon League first team all-star each of her final three years at Hempfield ... was also selected for first team all-state in 2006 and 2007 ... received an Academic All-Star award in 2007 from NFHCA ... competed with the USFHA U-19 Futures Elite Tour in Chile in 2008 ... selected for Futures Elite in 2007 and 2008 as well as the Olympic Development Selection Camp in 2008 ... Attended the Junior National camp in 2007 ... received superior honor roll all four years of at Hempfield ... letterwinner in soccer as well as basketball ... daughter of Bob and P.J. Brautigam ... has a sister, Kailey.
