    2011 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 17 games and started 14 for Indiana ... took one shot against Miami (Aug. 26) ... took one shot against UC Davis (Sept. 15) ... took a shot against Ohio State (Sept. 30) and Penn State (Oct. 7) ... recorded three shots against Michigan (Oct. 28) ... took one shot against Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament (Nov. 3).

    PREP/PERSONAL: Was a three-time Lebanon County All-Star at Palmyra Area High School, leading her team to a Mid-Penn Conference championship in 2009 ... recorded 40 goals, 24 assists and three defensive saves in her career ... was a two-time First Team All-State selection and a three-time Mid-Penn All-Star ... was named the 2010 Mid-Penn Co-MVP ... a co-captain as a junior and senior, Day was the PHS Players Player in 2008, 2009 and 2010, earned Patriot News Big 11 honors and was a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Second Team All-American as a senior ... an academic standout, earning PIAA All-Academic and NFHCA National Academic Team honors in 2010 ... in her career at Palmyra, Day's squads compiled a 79-21-1 record, while falling by just one goal in each of the 21 losses ... was a four-year letterwinner in field hockey and also lettered in basketball and track and field ... daughter of Kim Petrich and Mike and Tam Schmidt.
