    ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Indiana field hockey team fell at No. 7 Michigan, 4-2, in the final game of the regular season for the Hoosiers. Audra Heilman and Jaclyn Zamudio netted IU's two goals.

    Heilman put the Hoosiers (9-7, 2-4) on the board in the 16th minute as she took a shot from the center of the circle to give IU a 1-0 lead. The Wolverines (13-4, 5-1) matched it with a goal from Emy Guttman in the 22nd minute to take a 1-1 tie into the break.

    Michigan quickly broke the tie in the second half, scoring back-to-back goals in the 36th and 52nd minutes. The Hoosiers responded with a goal from Zamudio in the 60th minute as she tipped in a shot from Brenna Moeljadi, cutting Michigan's lead to 3-2. However, the Wolverines sealed the win on a goal in the 66th minute for the 4-2 victory.

    Stefani Day took three shots for IU, one on goal. Heilman had two shots on goal for one goal. Katie Griswold tallied two shots on goal. Zamudio took one shot on goal for one goal with Moeljadi picking up the assist.

    Viki Green started in the cage for the Hoosiers and recorded eight saves in 70:00 minutes.

    Michigan outshot Indiana, 14-10.

    Next up for the Hoosiers will be the Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament at Penn State, Nov. 3-6.
