July 1, 2014
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana field hockey head coach Amy Robertson has announced the addition of Ines Lardeur to the program for the upcoming season.
Lardeur, a native of Lille, France, has played the sport of field hockey since she was six years old and played on the French U18 team that finished in fourth-place at the European Nationals in Dublin, Ireland last summer.
Lardeur plays the midfield and defender positions and her current French club is ranked number one in the French National Championship rankings.
"We are thrilled to announce the addition of Ines to the 2014 squad," Robertson said. "Ines brings the full package of components necessary to make an immediate impact on our program and the Big Ten. Her extensive international experience, combined with her up tempo style of play will be a strong compliment to the teams current talents and are sure to help IU field hockey reach the goals set for 2014 and beyond."
Lardeur played for four years at Lycee Saint Paul school in Lille, France and has played on the U16, U18 and now U21 national teams for France. She is currently training with the U21 team for the upcoming championships in July.
Ines is the daughter of Florence and Philippe Lardeur and has two brothers, Grégoire and Thibaud.
