    Fleetwood Selected to Play in NFHCA Senior All-Star Game

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana field hockey redshirt senior Morgan Fleetwood has been selected to play in the 2012 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Senior All-Star game on Saturday, Nov. 17, hosted by Old Dominion, at 3 p.m. ET. She is the 12th Hoosier to earn a trip to the Senior All-Star game.

    Fleetwood, one of nine Big Ten players selected, will join 38 seniors from various schools in a series of four 25-minute pieces with the U.S. Women's National Team.

    The Freeburg, Pa. native earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors in 2011 and was a Second Team NFHCA All-West Region selection in 2009. This season, Fleetwood surpassed several career program records including points (111), goals (43) and has tied game-winning goals (14). Fleetwood currently leads the Hoosiers in goals (12), assists (10), points (34) and shots (86).

    Fleetwood and the Hoosiers open the postseason on Thursday, Nov. 1 against No. 2 seed Northwestern in the 2012 Big Ten Tournament at 1:30 p.m. ET in Iowa City, Iowa.
