JUNIOR YEAR (2013-14) Competed at the 2014 U.S. Women's Open ... won the Golf Association of Ontario's (GAO) Women's Champion of Champions event in June 2014 ... advanced to the round of 32 at the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship ... named Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar ... Academic All-Big Ten ... tallied five top-25 finishes on the season and was second on the team in stroke average (76.76) ... tied for 20th at the IU Fall Kickoff (77-75) ... tied for 24th at the Mary Fossum Invitational (78-74-78) ... closed the fall season with a tied for 20th finish at the Hoosier Fall Invitational (76-72-75) ... had a season-best finish of tied for sixth at the Westbrook Invitational (71-70-72), recording her three lowest rounds of the season ... followed that up with a tied for 28th finish at the BYU at Entrada Classic (79-85-77) ... placed tied for 20th at the Lady Buckeye Invitational (80-77-75) ... tied for 49th at the Big Ten Championships (78-81-79).

Won the 2011 Investors Group Ontario Junior Spring Classic Girls' Championship in Uxbridge, Ontario ... in 2010, Tong won three tournaments including the AJGA CorseMax Philadelphia Qualifier at Penn Oaks, the Toronto District Colleges Athletic Association Golf Tournament and the Sydney Mulqueen Tournament at Mississauga where she shot her best round of the year of 70 ... won her first tournament in 2006 and totals 15 first-place tournament finishes all-time ... has a Royal Canadian Golf Association Handicap Factor of 0.0 and will play her second season for the York District Amateur Team in 2011 ... member of the Golf Association of Ontario (GAO) Under 19 Team Ontario Program of Excellence in 2010 ... finished in a first-place tie at the 2007 GAO Clublink Bantam Tour, finishing either first our second in each of the four tour events that took place in the months of July and August ... in the classroom, Tong has ranked in the top three students academically throughout her high school career ... she has consistently been on the Principle's Honor Roll with Distinction every year since the seventh grade and has received awards in French, English, marketing and science ... parents are Man Lee Tong and Susan Sue-Chan ... born April 17, 1993.
